Taking Eithne's advice and giving it a new name, going to continue where Family Ties left off.
Not sure if i like what i have added so any comments would be very helpful as i seem to have hit a wall at the moment.

Part 7
Monday Evening
Matthew switched off his laptop and pouring himself a drink, he sat back and thought about how he was going to keep Sadie quiet. It didn’t really matter if Jimmy or his Dad found out but if he even had the slightest chance of getting back with Rachel, he could forget it if she found out about him and Sadie. Even thinking about her made the hair stand on the back of his neck. He had enough money set aside and his own business dealings were going well at this rate he was worth more on his own then as part of the King Family.
He heard a knock on his door and wondered who it was, no-one had buzzed in. He opened the door to find Sadie standing in front of him. “well if muhammed won’t come to the mountain….” She said as she walked past him. “What do you want, I thought I made it clear, I want nothing to do with you!” Matthew shouted at her. “No need to raise your voice, we need to sort things out I would to break Jimmy’s heart and I don’t think Tom’s heart could bare anymore heartbreak” “What” replied Matthew.
“I think for everyone’s sake it might be better to keep things quiet but still carry on, I mean Jimmy would never need to know”
“Sadie, not a hope, “ he replied but he started to think maybe he could fool her into believing he wanted something to happen and if she was to have an accident, nobody would get hurt well maybe someone would but at the moment it was his only option.
“But Matthew we could be good together!” Sadie walked towards him and wrapped her arms around him.
Matthew went to pull her away but he didn’t, thinking to himself, this could work out to his advantage yet.
“we will have to be careful about this though, noone must know, I mean no-one!”
Sadie smiled at him and kissed him lightly on the lips.
All of a sudden Matthew’s phone rang. He pulled away and answered it.
“Hello”. Matthew listened and agreed to meet the caller in ten minutes.
“I’m sorry, Sadie but I need to go out, its important, we can pick up again”
Sadie sighed “okay, lover, I look forward to it! I’m having a dinner party on Friday night you will come won’t you?”
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world” Matthew closed the door behind her and smiled to himself, maybe this wouldn’t be so bad, he had called an old friend who owed him a favour and Sadie’s party on Friday night was a perfect distraction.
Perry Taylor opened the car door and sat in.
“Perry”
“Matt”
“Listen, thanks for getting back to me so soon”
“no bother, man you want a house cleared out?”
“yes, this Friday night would suit? How would you be fixed?”
“short notice, will cost you, night work, my boys like overtime, much removal needed?”
“no, it’s just one thing, bit to big for me on my own and I have somewhere to be, family commitments!”
“okay”
“everything you need is in here” Matthew handed Perry an envelope.
“no bother, I’ll be in touch when its removed”
Perry Taylor placed the envelope in his jacket pocket, shook hands with Matthew and got out of the car. He had a good look around well he buttoned up his jacket and walked off towards the lights of a nearby pub.
Wednesday
Rachel sat down on the large sofa and took a good look around the place.
“Thanks a million you guys, it would have taken me hours to sort out all this stuff”
Gary Shortall, Mick Reynolds and Sally Carter sat down beside her.
“This place is great, Gary, how did you find it?” asked Sally.
“my missus’s brother is in the real estate business and I mentioned a friend was looking for somewhere central”
Gary had told Rachel about this place at work on Monday night and when he got a chance he brought her around to see it, she took it straight away, it was perfect, she never would have found it. It was a 15 minute walk to work, the city centre was 5 minutes away and she even had her own parking space not that she had sorted a car out yet. Mick and Sally worked with them and had offered to help when she told them she was moving into a place of her own. She had hired a removal company and they had delivered everything that morning and all four of them had spent the last couple of hours unpacking. When you looked around you would she had lived here months.
“Anyway, guys, i’m going to head need to do some things at home before I go in tonight” said Mick as he got up. Gary and Sally made their excuses too and left.
Rachel closed the door behind them and looking at her watch she realized she still had a couple of hours before work, she would have time to pop into the shops and look for something to wear for Sadie’s dinner party on Friday night.
She grabbed her handbag and closed the door behind her. She wasn’t going to go on Friday night but Sadie had called her this morning and kept at her till she had given in. Matthew had rang her to ask her to go with him she hadn’t said yes or no, she told him she needed to find out what time she would be finished work first.
A couple of hours later she returned from her shopping trip laden down with bags, she dropped them all into the spare room and grabbing her work gear left for work.
Wednesday Night
Sadie rang Matthew’s phone and waited for an answer.
“Hello”
“Hi, Matthew,”
“Sadie, I was just thinking about you!”
“me too, so when are we going to get together?”
“I’m very busy at the moment but how about you sneak away on Friday night before the party starts”
“I don’t know, I have a lot of guests to prepare for, we wouldn’t have very long alone”
“Jimmy can cope plus it will be along night not being able to get close”
“okay, you’re right, where we will meet?”
“how about the holiday park on Hotten Road, we would be far enough off the road not to be seen but not to far away from Home Farm”
Sadie agreed to meet Matthew about 7pm, she would make an excuse that Damon needed to be walked and Jimmy wouldn’t question her. He had been at her again about having children and she told him that she had booked herself in for the genetic tests and was just waiting for an appointment now. That would keep him quiet for a while, he told her he wouldn’t push her and that they would take their time. She wasn’t sure how long she could play him along but another couple of weeks would suffice, she had made a couple of calls and had finally got a number of someone who could help her out. It would be costly but the insurance return would be worth it but she had to be clever, people would be suspicious so soon after them getting back together so she reckoned she could play along the looking forward to being a mother line. She had rang her bank manager about organizing some funds the money would be released by the end of the month.
