EMILY: Can I help you?
AMELIA: I hope so. I'm looking for directions to the King's house
EMILY: Oh they have more than one, which of them are you looking for?
AMEILIA: Any of them really
Carl walks in. Viv points
VIV Will he do?
Carl looks puzzled. Amelia turns round and smiles
AMEILA Hello stranger.....
Carl looks stunned
CARL Amelia.....
AMELIA Long time no see Carl. It's good to see you
Carl smiles
CARL Good to see you too
Carl and Amelia hug
CARL You've changed so much
Amelia smiles
AMELIA For the better I hop
CARL SMILES
CARL Definately. I didn't know you were coming to visit
Amelia winks
AMELIA I was just passing
CARL Of course you were. Sadie is going to go ballistic
AMELIA Good. Now are you going to take me to see everyone else or not?
CARL Sure, let's go
Carl and Amelia walk out leavng Viv desperate to know who this newcomer is

Tom and Matt are in the office. Carl pops his head round the door
CARL Hi y a
TOM Carl, I thought you were going to the ladnfill site?
CARL I was, but I bumped into someone in the shop. Bet you'll never guess who?
Tom looks puzzled. Matt shrugs
MATT Do tell
Carl walks in and holds the door open for Amelia
AMELIA Hello
Tom smiles
AMELIA I hope you don't mind me just turning up like this
Tom and Amelia hug
TOM Of course not. You're family
Amelia smiles
AMELIA It's so good to see you. Hey Matt
Matt kisses her on the cheek
MATT How are you kid?
AMELIA I'm good. You?
MATT I'm great. It's good to see you
TOM Yes, it's been too long. How long are you with us for? A while I hope
Amelia smiles
AMELIA That depends if I can crash on someone's sofa
TOM We'll always find space for you sweetheart, you know that
CARL You can have my spare room
Tom smiles
TOM That's that sorted then. Hae you seen Jimmy and Sadie yet?
AMELIA Not yet no, I've just arrived. Jimmy hasn't taken her back again has he?
Matt laughs
MATT You know what Jimmy's like
AMELIA Even still. I thought after all that with the wedding and the robbery he would have learned
TOM I'm heading over to meet them for a drink in the Wooly just now
CARL You can surprise her
Carl, Matt and Amelia all laugh sarcastically. Tom frowns
AMELIA She'll love that
TOM She'll be pleased to see you
AMELIA We'll see
Tom walks out, Amelia follows then Carl and Matt. Matt is still laughing mischeviously

Tom, Matt and Carl are sitting at a table in the Woolpack. Jimmy and Sadie walk in
MATT Now the fun begins
Carl and Matt giggle
TOM I've got the drinks in. Grab a seat
Jimmy notices an extra drink on the table
JIMMY Have we got company?
Amelia walks out of the ladies and smiles
AMELIA You sure have
Jimmy and Sadie both look stunned. Jimmy smiles and hugs Amelia
JIMMY Amelia!!
AMELIA Hi Jimmy
JIMMY It's been too long
AMELIA I've been off travelling the world
JIMMY Sounds great
AMELIA It was
Amelia looks at Sadie. Sadie's face is dark with rage
AMELIA Hello Sadie
SADIE Why did you just turn up out of the blue? Did you not think to phone first? Do you have no manners?
AMELIA It's nice to see you. I'm fine thanks for asking
CARL She looks great doesn't she?
Sadie shoots a glowering look at Carl
CARL She's female. That's the only pre-requisite for you. You can't stay with us, we don't have the room
AMELIA I'm staying with Carl
SADIE Very cosy. You are going home tomorrow
AMELIA I'm planning to stay a bit longer actually
SADIE That wasn't a request
AMELIA Neither was mine
TOM Come on Sadie, Amelia is family. It'll be good to catch up with her
SADIE I thought you were off travelling the world?
AMELIA I was, but I'm back now
SADIE I suppose Daddy paid for it all
AMELIA No I worked my way. Dad didn't pay a penny actually. We may be sisters.......but I'm not liek you in that respect
Amelia sits down and drinks with the family. Sadie looks furious, but joins in anyway knowing how much the King's adore her younger half-sister

half-sisters, eh? Very interesting...interesting to see where Sadie's jealousy leads to.

Tom, Sadie, Jimmy, Matt, Carl and Amelia are sitting round the table all looking slightly tense
JIMMY Isn't this nice, all of us together?
SADIE It was supposed to be a family evening
TOM And doesn't Amelia joining us make it extra special
Amelia smiles
AMELIA Aw thank you Tom
Sadie looks furious
SADIE I don't imagine Daddy will be too pleased when he finds out you are here
AMELIA He already knows. He knows I'll be well looked after here so he's happy with it
Tom puts his arm round Amelia
TOM And we're happy to have you here. You know......Mary and I often wished for a daughter
Tom looks a little sad
TOM Don't get me wrong you boys meant the world to us, but Mary would hve loved a girl. You 2 girls are like daughters to me
Amelia smiles. Sadie looks gutted

Carl and Amelia walk up to the house door. Amelia waves as Tom dirves past. She waves as Sadie and Jimmy drive pas - Sadie looks absolutely livid. Carl and Amelia go inside

Carl is sitting on the sofa. Amelia comes in (wearing PJ's) and sits down next to him
CARL You ok. You've been very quiet
Amelia smiles sadly
AMELIA Just thinking
CARL About Sadie?
Amelia brings her knees up to her chest
AMELIA Among other things. Maybe I shouldn't have come. I thought I could - just stick the knife into her, but I guess I'm really not as cold as she is
CARL Of course you're not
Amelia smiles
CARL Sadie is only a witch to you because she's jealous
Amelia smiles
AMELIA I know. It's silly, she has no reason to be.......She has everything. She always has done
CARL You are younger than her....smarter than her....prettier than her...
Amelia laughs. Carl puts his hand on her knee
CARL It's true. You are so much nicer than Sadie in every way
Amelia pats his hand
AMELIA Thanks CArl
Carl smiles. They link fingers
CARL However the main reason she is jealous of you is because everyone likes you and no-one likes her
Amelia and Carl laugh and cuddle up on the sofa

That is brilliant! I almost had my out while reading it! I really like the bitchiness between the two half-sisters. Amelia seems to be a lot nicer than Sadie anyway. I wonder if she'll expose any of her sister's dark secrets?

Its brillaint any fanfiction that involves the King's is good. I can see Carl and Amelia getting together and maybe Sadie being driven to doing something evil.

We do have a lot of fan fiction on the Kings don't we? Must have at least 10/12 stories.

I'm not complaining though - I'm absolutly delighted that so many people are trying their hand at writing a story. And everybody is doing very well with their stories.

Carl pretends to looks sad
CARL I know it's going to spoil it for yo, but Sadie won't be there
Amelia shakes her head
AMELIA I'm gutted. It won't be the same without her
They both laugh
CARL See you there at 1
Carl kisses her cheek and leaves. Amelia watches his walk away and smiles

JIMMY We're having lunch at 1
Sadie draws him a look
SADIE Lucky you
Jimmy looks exacerbated
JIMMY Dad would like you to be there
SADIE Sitting around listening to Amelia's tales of travelling isn't my idea of fun Jimmy
JIMMY LIFTS UP HIS BRIEFCASE
SADIE I do wish Tom would stop ecouraging her to stay - and Carl for that matter
JIMMY Carl's always had a soft spot for her, you know that
SADIE Don't I just
JIMMY Well she's here now
SADIE She's not staying
JIMMY KISSES HER CHEEK AND WALKS OUT. SADIE PUTS DONW HER MAKE-UP
SADIE She knows far too much to let that happen

MAX What is is with her and Mel? Why do they hate each other?
CARL Mel doesn't hate Sadie - it's Sadie who has the problem
MATT That's because Sadie's a.....
TOM (Butts in) Matthew, enough thank you
Matt, Carl and Max laugh
TOM It's hard for people who have step-families and broken marriages. You boys should thank yourself lucky
Tom picks up his drink
TOM Those girls dealt with a lot when they were young, especially Sadie
Amelia walks in. Max stands up
MAX Mel, good to see you
Max and Amelia hug
AMELIA How are you Max?
MAX I'm good. What's your poison?
AMELIA White wine please
Max goes to the bar. Amelia sits down smiling

They all raise their glasses and take a drink

TOM How are your parents love?
Amelia looks sad
AMELIA Not too great to be honest. Apart they are fine, together it's not so good at the moment
TOM Sorry to hear that. I'm sure they'll sort it out though, they're a strong couple
Amelia smiles
AMELIA I hope so
MAX So how long are you around for?
AMELIA I'm not sure. I had hoped to stay for a few weeks, but I'm not sure now
TOM Why not? It's lovely to have you around
CARL Yeah, and you know you can stay with me for as long as you like
AMELIA SMILES
AMELIA Thanks and it's great to see you guys, I've missed you all, but I don't want to cause trouble
MATT Don't let Sadie bother you, we don't
Matt winks. Amelia laughs
AMELIA Even still, this is her home and you guys are her....
TOM Stop right there young lady. You are family too, just the saem as Sadie. You are staying. You leave Sadie to me
AMELIA Aw thanks Tom
Amelia smiles, she has a mischevious glint in her eye, and take a drink of her wine

Sorry about the delay guys. I've just moved house and a bundle of stuff went missing - including the computer disk with the next part of this on it. I'll have to br re-writing it

I've got another story on disk that I'll stick up in the meantime to see what you think

i've lost the re-written ending bit of this story, but I do have my original attempt which included Mel and Charity basically taking on Sadie
