Don't worry, Billy often has that effect but you learn to live with it ;D
So how did you like it then? Was it your first Emmerdale experience?

Hi I just liked the whole experience and the emmerdale people were very nice especially glen shame kelvin and luke wasnt there but was still great i wondered why ben didnt say a word when signing the autograph he was really quiet but i think it may have been with the zoe storyline and people giving him the stick over it and people thinking its real.it was my 1st emmerdale experience i loved it im hoping to go to bakewell show next week there is supposed to be a couple of them there but i dont know yet.when i asked glen if he could he could sign my programme he said yeh sure mate and he took the time signing it he was fantastic.did you enjoy it?.i hope there is one next year and did you take some pics of it?

Glad you enjoyed the match Ben. Ben didn't speak to you because over the past couple of years he's allowed the fame go to his head and has turned into a bit of an rrrrrrs ole! I know a couple of people from the board have had first hand experience of his arrogance which is a shame as most of us could do without his character in the programme anyway. Glad you managed to get his autograph for your collection tho.

Glad he posed for you LK but as Shewolf pointed out to me last week, look at his eyes on your photo - does his smile continue up to his eyes?

Do you mean on my Ben photos or my own personal face? The only real smile I've got on Ben's face on a photo was taken with Mrs Bogs at the dinner table a few years ago - remember that?! We never did work out where she had her hand! ;D

Well i was really disappointed in the match yesterday it was no where near as good as the previous two had been i'm only pleased it was so close to me and that i had'nt had to travel far for it.
I have to agree with Baggy i've been saying all season that Ben has been a right grumpy git i know everyone has off days but he has been like this at every game and i'm not the only one saying it either which makes me wonder why he bothers going in the first place.
Your right about Glen Lamont though Bensautos he is always a really top bloke very friendly and approachable i've met him oodles and he's always the same. He reminds of Chris Chittell in a way, another really lovely man who you can't help but like and is never any different always a star.

Personally I don't see the problem, he stayed and signed in the rain the same as the rest why should he smile as well? He has done his bit for a good, charitable cause, in the rain I might add. What do you lot want blood?
It appears that because some of you call yourselves fans that you deserve something from these people, almost that you own them. Well how about the truth....You don't. Instead be grateful for what you got despite the fact that these celebs must get fed up being hounded by wannabees all the time.

I think they would be more bothered if people did'nt pay them any attention and besides a smile does'nt cost anything does it

My own experience of Ben Freeman was a nice (but tired) bloke taking time to walk round a room of well over a hundred people and speaking to everyone who wanted it. I don't ever remember ANY other member of the cast putting themselves out as much as Ben did. And he did smile!

Yeah i have to agree with you GC that on the weekends Ben seems to be in a happier mood but i've been to all the matches so far this season and his arrogance stands out a mile IMO

Personally I wasn't that impressed...... I'm not a fan of football and it didn't seem as personal or with as much opportunity to meet the cast as cricket. The weather didn't help either but (as I said before) it doesn't rain in the pub and that's where we spent a good part of the time. In the pub we had comfy seats, good company, warmth, dry and beer!!
I'd always recommend the cricket above football but it's each to their own.
