Hi everyone,
I know it's a bit early, but is anyone here thinking of going along on 3 June? I am - and taking some mates with me - so if any of you lot are, specially Jimmyphiles, lol, let me know! I'm sure we could hatch a plot to whisk him off, if he's there!! ;D

Cool! I've never been to an event like this before and am looking forward to it. I only live 40 miles or so away from Banchory so it should be a good day out.

lol, Arrange to meet near Autograph bays or something? The autograph bays are a nightmare - takes hours to get to the front of the queue then when you get there, the person you were queuing for has left! The Radio area is better where cast members are intereviewed every half hour. |

Hiya! Yes am definitely going. I don't live too far from Banchory and am DETERMINED to not miss it!!!! And don't worry...I shall be sure to take loads of photos, not just of the luscious one, but of anyone I can ensnare!

Hiya! Sorry for the delay in posting....
I did go but there was no sign of Jimmy... There were loads of other cast members there tho including Hayley Tamaddon, Mark Charnock, Charlie Hardwick, Mathew Bose (who was lovely and gave me his autograph, along with Mark Charnock), Jenna Louise Coleman, Chris Chittell; that's about all I can think of!
It was a great day, weather could have been a bit better but there was plenty to see and do....
I did take quite a few photos but unfortunately had my digital camera (bought specially for the occasion) stolen before I left Inchmarlo, so haven't got any photo memories of the day.

The only King there was Carl, Tom Lister, who played golf for most of the day so unfortunately spent little time around the event.
Mrsjimmyking has mentioned a few cast there, but it was also nice to see newer characters like Purdie & Grayson Sinclair, Jean Hope and Hari Prasard.

Hey! I was at the event both during the day and night time. I am with a group called "Serendipity", we are the official charity pop group, we sing at many gigs to raise money for Ucan. It was a great day (apart from the weather), the cast did well signing autographs the whole day, the money raised was over £250,000 which is great!! The dinner and dance was also very good, the cast left early which is not suprising cause they were all nakkard! But I spoke to a few of them and got lots of pics. Anyone else there enjoy their day?? Jen x

I went to Aberdeen as well and really had a great time. It was good to meet Susan, i thought you would like to know Tom, she was very nice. The cast and crew were all very friendly and it was a good atmosphere at the hotel where they stayed and the event itself, they were only to willing to sign things and have photos taken and a wee chat. Most enjoyable few days as had a short holiday in Scotland the same time. |
