The first time I can remember this being called by name and see the residents there was when Carol bought it from under Viv. I know it had been called the B&B before. Can anyone remember earlier?

I have started to scour old books and will have to go back to old photos because, and I am prolly wrong, I am sure there was a sign 'The Grange' on the building before it was used in the program, perhaps even going back to Esholt days.

Carol was the first named person to live there though? I've had a glance through some but haven't as yet found anyone else.

The first time I can remember this being called by name and see the residents there was when Carol bought it from under Viv. I know it had been called the B&B before. Can anyone remember earlier? In the book Emmerdale Behind the Scenes they talk about village buildings like this: pp 18-19 Twelve empty houses were built.... A cottage, The Grange was built on to the side of The Woolpack. There are also two empty houses - Mulberry Cottage (with the B&B sign) and Oak Lea next to it at the end of the Main Street. Yet, there is nothing between the Grange and Oak Lea. Maybe they mean by the Grange the cottage, where the stone stairs lead into from the side of the house??? Very confusing, especially when I was translating the book into Finnish, and there really wasn't even any B&B, I was so mad, when The Grange was turned into BB.
