Can anyone tell me.I am having a disagreement with my Mum because I say Victoria Cottage used to be called Demdyke,she says it wasn't.

Sorry mate you are wrong there. Demdyme was/is in another part of the village, unseen since it was rebuilt.
The nearest you get is the occasional glimpse of the footpath sign somewhere around Mill Cottage or the cricket pitch I think.
Just thought Demdyke used to have a row of houses btw, it wasn't just one.

I think Victoria Cottage is the one where Cathy Glover & Alice used to live. Matthew King, redecorated it right through when he moved to the village. He lived in it until he was sacked from King & Sons. I also seem to think that Val Lambert lived in it for a short time. I believe Victoria Cottage is now empty.
Please Note: Tom King is the landlord as he had inherited Victoria Cottage, along with all other properties belonging to the Tates when he bought Home Farm about a year ago.

They did indeed. Alan has owned it twice.
Paul Marsdon and his wife also owned if for a while.

Th bates, Micheal feldman and eric lived there too. around the time of the air disaster ...I remeber when Kathy lived there and it was painted yellow inside , then marlon & Tricia did the garden up for that competion and then matthew redocorated and made it trendy...hari moved in as well didnt , then kelly, Emily and Paul ....
