Having seen an interview with Dave, I have to say he is a nice guy and I think if the writing gets better, he can also better his portrayal

Having met him, I can say he is a nice guy  And he played evil ok until the scriptwriters changed him. They just have him shouting and now a fop to Sadie. |

According to the GMTV interview with Ray Caulthard ( Rosemary's son who was going to marry Sadie) & Matt they said that they are both from Paisley in Scotland but I did read that Matt moved from there to Oldham when he was younger & his parents spilt up.

I read in...Inside Soap I think it was, that the reason that The King Boys was 'Scottish' was that once Matt Healey was doing a scene as Matt King regarding what his mother Mary said once, and he suddenly said it in his native Scottish,...and it stook, and that is how the boys became half Scottish!
Matt added it just happened....but it did tickle him afterwards when he thought about what he had done! ;D

It was this one scene where Matthew and Jimmy (erm, or possibly more or fewer of the brothers - it was before Max died) had forgotten's their Mum's anniversary (or possibly birthday, but I think anniversary is right) and Tom was upset with them, but eventually they all went to the pub and sat there swapping nostalgic stories about their childhood. And Matthew did an impression of his Mum in one of the anecdotes, and the rest is history!  Roch x |
