Soap star Sammy Winward stepped out for charity and helped raise £5,000 for the Meningitis Trust.
Sammy, aged 21, who plays Katie Sugden in Emmerdale, took part in a toddle waddle with baby daughter, Mia, to raise cash for the charity in Harwood in May.
Yesterday, she and organiser Natalie Yates handed the fundraising cheque over to the charity.
Mrs Yates, aged 31, of Harwood, said: "I'm so pleased we raised as much as we did last year because all of this money will go towards funding research into this devastating illness.
"It was a really fantastic day and I'm so proud of all the youngsters who took part, they did a great job raising as much money as they did. This is going to become an annual event from now on."
The mum-of-three has been organising the mile-long toddle waddles since her friend's daughter died of meningitis three years ago. advertisement
Natalie Toner, aged two, became seriously ill and died while in Ireland, where her mum, Alex, was based with the Army.
