Argh, have been roped into helping my mum with a party on the Saturday which would mean going from Skipton... Which is an extra 45 minutes onto the journey than if I was heading from my house in York... Looks like I might have to give this one a miss... *mutters about family commitments*

aww just saw this and got all excited, and asked other half if we could go Sunday. He's on bloomin' call so has to stay put. I asked if he could swap with someone but three quarters of his section have gone over to France for a colleagues wedding, so he says it's unlikely, but he'll see how the land lies tomorrow.

Branston is just outside Lincoln. I'm hopefully going to hear who may be there from Emmerdale today or tomorrow.

Good day with great weather at Branston today with 4 cast/ex-cast members attending. Chris Chittell, Patrick Mower, Nigel Betts and Fraser Hines. Rest of the team made up of Roly Plant & son and the usual suspects. All did their best to help raise money for Childline. The cast that were there spent almost all of their off-pitch time autograph signing much to the delight of the huge crowd even though some of the young bimbos having to ask Nigel "wot are you in then?" Glappy made him laugh by saying Coronation St., which was the last thing he was in. Nigel was later seen going into bat with a can of Fosters to bribe the umpire just before he was hit in the 'box' by a well struck ball! About the only other thing to report was Roly offering SheWolf a good time in the back of the Emmerdale bus..........Until she said yes and he went pale & lost his nerve...... Thanks to all who attended and worked so hard.

Got to agree with Boggy, lovely day out. I got a cuddle or two from Roly, a lovely cuddle from Nigel Betts and quite an interesting chat with a bloke who calls himself 'nobody' then you find out he's had bit parts in all my favourites and coaches the Emmerdale cricketers. All this and the company of two good friends in glorious weather, one of the best ways to spend a bank holiday Sunday! ;D

It was indeed a great day, they need a bigger BBQ though Boggy and Glappy have summed it up well, I'll get my picures up tomorrow hopefully.

Well Smish what about Ackworth next Sunday? That is a better venue than where we were today. Sadly I'm already booked for next weekend... Am working at an event in London. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for any future events though... Am gutted that I have missed/am missing these!

Lovely pictures Shewolf, although I really think we should explain cricket to you before the next match. Nice to see you got a pic of "Nobody", what a lovely bloke!

Someone should explain cricket. Because apart from menrubbing a ball on their trousers making them all green, I've no idea what they were doing, though you Glappy did try to explain about the 4's and 6's
Up you worked my camera well Boggy, which reminds me I must alter then what ever it is I've got to alter before next week .
