Former Emmerdale star James Carlton (Jason Kirk), has joined the cast of Doctors.
He has joined as semi-regular character Mike Kelsey, a new agency nurse working at The Mill and Campus surgeries.
Mike is a college friend and drinking buddy of Archie's, and having sent Michelle's heart a flutter, she turns to Archie and interrogates him about the new hunky addition to the team. She needs to know everything about Mike - but for professional reasons only of course!
James is currently filming episodes that will be shown later in the year from September.
