I'm not sure if I have put the correct name down, but anyway, Dianes daughter and Gabbys mother, Bernice (sorry don't know the actresses name!) is now working in Hollyoaks.

She has been there a while playing a dire character with a really bad fake accent.

I only noticed that she was in the soap this evening as i was flicking through the channels.
I do agree though - her accent is awful!

I know what you mean about the accent, it is bad, thats the thing with Hollyoaks, to many different accents,
Their storylines are amazing at times, but the show is so low budget it gets spoilt.
we need to Kidnapp Phil Redmond and hold him to ransom untill he agrees to write for Emmerdale again ;D

Oh dear God no, Redmond nearly killed Emmerdale last time. Besides he has very little to do with Hollyoaks, isn't an ex Corrie producer & writer who have turned it around?
Didnt Sam Giles have that accent in "Where the Heart Is" too?

Caroline Reynolds, an ex Corrie Exec producer is doing the same job at HO. Whoever is doing what there they are getting it right imho.
