Tom King closed the door on Home Farm as the last of the workers left and breathed a sigh of relief. It had been finished and they would be able to have their first christmas in Home Farm after all.
Meanwhile over in the village, a black car pulled up outside the cemetery. A woman and man got out of the car and carried a small coffin towards a prepared grave. The man placed the coffin into the grave and said a few words to the woman. He returned to the car and left.
Hannah watched as the coffin was covered and waited till the caretaker left. She lay down a small fire truck on the grave and said her goodbyes. She gathered her bags and headed towards the village. Wiping the tears from her eyes she made her way towards the B&B.
After checking into her room she quickly showered and changed her clothes. Using the telephone she made a phone call and confirmed the starting time for her new job as Home Farm's housekeeper.
this is just the beginning hope its liked more tomorrow !

Sorry about the delay, heres some more!
Next Morning, Sadie, Matthew, Jimmy and Tom are in the kitchen having breakfast.
“what time did you say the housekeeper is starting?” asked Jimmy. “She is due around 10, I thought I would show her around before she met any of you lot” replied Tom.
“Where is she from?” asked Sadie. “what’s wrong afraid of some competition?” remarked Jimmy. Sadie scowled at him. “I know her family, there will be no bother on her she is Carl’s age, needed to get away from city life and when I spoke to her she seemed quite happy to take on the job for a few months” replied Tom.
“She’s very young to be a housekeeper, can’t have much experience?” replied Sadie. “what experience do you have?” remarked Matthew, “it cant be that hard to do housework”. “Never mind you lot, come on get out of here, we have a business to run”. Tom watched them leave and thought to himself that maybe Sadie was right Hannah was young but if she was anything like her parents work would be no problem.
Hannah walked up to Home Farm from the village and taking in the quiet and calmness of the countryside she was glad she had listened to her parents. It was her father’s idea that maybe a break from city-life would be what she needed. Work had agreed for her to take a year’s leave and with Henry and James gone it didn’t feel the same living in a big house on her own.
She straightened her jacket and rang the doorbell. She waited anxiously for a few moments. As the door opened she recognized Tom straight away. He came out to her and hugged her. She hadn’t expected that. “Hannah, come in, I am so glad you accepted my offer”. Tom led Hannah into the front room. “How are you keeping?” “I am okay, taking each day as it comes, I was sorry to hear about Max” “Well, we can grieve together, I haven’t mentioned anything to the boys or Sadie I figured the less they know the better” “Thank you, have had enough of people feeling sorry for me, but not knowing what to say” “ I know what you mean, how about I show you around, the decorators just finished yesterday”.
After Tom had shown Hannah around the house he led her out through the back paved area and showed her the small apartment that he had added on. “ I thought you might like to stay here, away from the house, it’s all new so you should be comfortable, do you need Terry to collect your bags from the B&B?” “that would be good, thanks Tom, this is lovely, are you sure none of the boys want to use here, I mean it is lovely but …” “no buts, I can keep an eye on them when they are under my roof, this will give you some privacy when you not working, I will get Terry to bring you into the village and you can collect your bags if you still want the job” Hannah nodded her head and followed Tom back into the main house.
okay that's it for now
