Matthew slaps Claire hard around the face
Claire holds her cheek, tears streaming down her face- Claire ran off
Matthew- Claire! Claire come back sweetheart I'm sorry I hit you I didn't mean it
Claire runs off and Jimmy is just pulling into home Farm
Claire runs out of the house and straight into Jimmy's car, Jimmy had to slam on the breaks
Jimmy- I could have kiiled you, you stupid girl! Claire continues to run off
Matt runs out of the house
Jimmy-........
Matthew- James did you see Claire pass
Jimmy- yeah I nearly knocked her down in my car why
Matthew- I hit her! she was back chatting me so I hit her
Jimmy- well she was back chatting you so she deserves it
Matthew- I hit her but I think I hit her too hard will you help me find her

Carl walks in and says ok what's up?
Matthew screams at Carl
Matthew- DID YOU SEE CLAIRE ON YOUR WAY HERE!!
Carl- yeah...... I did she was just walking to the village why.........
Matthew- we were arguing I was telling her off for something and she went too far and I hit her
Carl-.............
Matthew- can you stay here incase she comes back?
Carl- yeah sure
Matthew and Jimmy get into their cars
Matthew drives down into the village but he can't seem to find her anywhere....... he searches for hours but no look........ several hours later he decides to go back to home farm.
Jimmy and Matthew drive up
Carl comes to the door
Carl- No luck then
Matthew- no
Matthew- pass me the phone, I'm phoning the police
Carl- Matt the police won't do anything she has got to be at missing 24 to 48 hours at least
Matthew- lets phone Nixon he has some repaying to do.
Matthew rings up the police station
Receptionist- hello how can I help you?
Matthew - (crying down the phone) My daughter has gone missing
Receptionist- Ok what's yours and your daughters name sir?
Matthew- My name is Mr Matthew Thomas King and my daughters name is Claire Mary King
Receptionist- Ok how long has she been missing?
Matthew- about 8 hours now
Receptionist- You do know........ we can't offically put her down has missing until 24 hours have passed
Matthew- GOD! SHE'S ONLY A CHILD! SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO SURIVE MUCH OUT THERE NOT... THAT THIS TIME OF YEAR IT'S MINUS 4 OUT THERE!
Receptionist- I'm sorry Mr King but it's procedure
Matthew- *f_word procedure
Receptionist- Now Mr King please don't take it out on me I only work here
Matthew- Sorry about that sorry for swearing
Receptionist- I know how you are feeling I have kids too
Matthew- Ok can I speak to Detective Inspector Nixon please?
Receptionist- certainly I'll put him on
five minutes went by......... still nothing
10 minutes went by and Detective Inspector Nixon asnwered
Nixon- Hello?
Matthew- Hello Detective Inspector Nixon
Nixon- Matthew? god I haven't heard from in years, last time I saw you was just outside hospital you and Sadie just had a baby girl you called her Claire
Matthew- yeah
Nixon- So how's Sadie and Claire- I was going to say baby Claire but she won't be a baby no more how old is she?
Matthew- 14 nearly 15
Nixon- god really sh how are they?
Matthew- well me and Claire are fine I don't really know how Sadie is, she walked out on us when Claire was nearly three weeks
Nixon- Oh no I'm so sorry
Nixon- So then what can I do you with?
Matthew- it's about Claire she's gone missing she been missing 8 hours now
Nixon- erm........ do you know......
Matthew- yes I do but please help me
Nixon- Ok then I'm coming off duty in the next five mins so I'll look around in the car for an hour that's my best offer through I can't do anymore at the minute
Matthew- I understand
Nixon- good
Nixon- Ok then but first I need to give you my mobile phone number and send me a latest pic of Claire Ok

Matthew gives him his mobile number and he sends him a pic of Claire.
Dixon- thanks for this I'll keep an eye open
Matthew- Ok and he yawns see you then ( and puts down the phone
Jimmy- Now Matthew try and get some rest you look knackered
Matthew- I feel it aswell I really don't think I'll be able to sleep though
Matthew- Right I'm off to bed
Jimmy- good night
Matthew walks up stairs and passes Claire's bedroom- he can't help himself and opens his daughter's bedroom door but seeing her empty bed- made Matthew break down in tears
matthew went to bed he decided to do something what's totally out of his chracter
Matthew sat up in bed
Matthew- hey....... mum if your listening, will you look my little girl for me
half way through the night Matthew hasn't slept a wink
The next day Matthew sat at the breaksfast table and Jimmy walked in
Jimmy- god Matthew you look like shit, did you get any sleep last night
Matthew- no I think I slept for 10 mins and I woke up
Matthew- I've got a meeting today I can't go like this
Jimmy- god I thought you would cancel due the...........
Matthew- I know I was planning to but I need something to do......
Jimmy- how about going out and looking for her............
Matthew- I am... going out and looking for her the meeting isn't until 4.
Matthew gets ready and sets out in his car, Matt decides to drive to Leeds to see if he can find her
While in Leeds he stops off at a Subways for a sandwich, Matt walks in and this woman sees him and imediatly puts her hood up
Woman sat with her
Woman- you know him?
Claire- yeah he's my dad
Woman- Oh..... he looks a total mess
Claire- Oh........
Woman- what ever your dad did, I bet he didn't mean it and he only wants to protect his only little girl. Being homeless is not a place for a beautiful girl......... you got to ask yourself do you love your daddy
Claire- Yeah I love him very much
Woman- just go back I know.... he'll................
Matthew gets his sandwitch and leaves he takes one step out of the shop and Claire gets up and opens the door and shouts
Claire- DAD!!
Matthew turns around to see his daughter
Matthew- Claire!! oh my god!
Claire walks up to him and hugs him
Claire- I'm sorry
Matthew- Oh sweetheart there is nothing to be sorry about, it should be me who should be apolgising

Claire- Ok then, she goes outside and cleans out the stables, two hours later she finishes
Matthew- right younglady we are going down to the office I need to finish some paperwork off
Claire- Can't I stay here
Matthew- let me think NO!
Matthew- Ok I'll be setting off in 15 minutes ok
Claire- Ok! and she ran upstairs and jumps into the shower
15 minutes Matthew shouts up
Matthew- Come on Claire
Claire- Coming
Claire ran down stairs and jumps into a car
Claire and Matthew drove down to the office- they walk in
Claire sits at the table and after five minutes later Matthew comes off the phone
Matthew- sweetie will you go upstairs and find the London project for me
Claire- Ok dad
Claire goes upstairs and Matthew sits at his desk looking though his e mails and he suddenly picks up a picture frame he had on his desk he had several, he picked up a pic of Claire has a newborn baby and it made him remember the past
Back in the past
It was a week after Sadie left, Matthew walked into the office with a baby holder
Jimmy- god you can't bring Claire to your meeting
Matthew- I know but I have no other choice, I haven't got a baby sitter for her
Jimmy- I'll look after her while
Matthew- will you your a lifesaver, how much do I.........
Jimmy looked mortified- I want nothing
Three hours later Matthew returns and Jimmy is walking around the office cradling Claire, she is crying
Jimmy- Oh thank god your here she woke up about a hour ago and hasn't stop crying
Matthew- Ok pass her to me, Jimmy passes her to Matt
Matthew- Oh sush princess, sush! sush daddy's here, I know honey you miss your mummy I miss her too

Mattew snapped out of it and he picks up the photo of Sadie, he wonders where she is, he worries about her all the time, Matthew still deeply misses Sadie, everybody says that Claire is spitting image of Matthew but Matthew disagrees he personaly thinks she looks like Sadie minus the jet black hair.
Jimmy walks in
Jimmy- Oh......
Matthew quickly puts the picture back but it drops off so Jimmy picks it up
Jimmy- you still miss her don't you
Matthew- every single day, if it wasn't for mine and Sadie's little girl I would have crumbled years ago. But there is one thing i would like to know from Sadie if I ever saw her again, " Why did you abondoned our little girl. didn't you love us?

back in the future, it was soon after the wedding, Sadie and Matthew decide to give it another go. Sadie and Matthew fell back into bed with each other on the day of the wedding, Matthew seeked her out of the house
Sadie- anyway Matthew thanks for letting me stay- in the ceremony- watching my girl get married it was emotional even more emotional for you
Sadie- keep in touch! tell our Claire if she needs to talk- I'll tell you something Matthew, that was the hardest thing I ever done in my life- walking out on you and our baby girl, when I was leaving all those years ago I was controlably crying when writing the letter and I held Claire in my arms I was saying bye to her- I wanted to take her with me but I knew I couldn't
Matthew-why did you leave? wasn't I enough for you,
Sadie- Oh Matthew I loved you, but I couldn't do that to you, I got into some trouble with a man, a deal of mine went wrong and he threatened to hurt you and Claire. I just did it to protect you and our girl
Matthew- you left our girl without a mum I think Claire would have preferred to have a mum apart from no mum.
Sadie- I know, I feel terrible
one year after Claire's wedding Sadie and Matthew are still together, it's valetine's day Matthew's taking Sadie out to a top restarant
Matthew- so are you enjoying it?
Sadie- I love it! I need to........
Matthew- I need to ask you something but you first?
Sadie- No you!
Matthew gets up and walks up to Sadie and kneels down on one knee and he holds Saide's hand
Matthew-Sadie will you marry me?
Sadie- Oh my god! course I will
Matthew-..........( he puts the ring on her finger)
Sadie- now....... I need to tell you something?
Matthew-.............
Sadie- Your going to be a daddy again
Matthew- really? that's great news
Sadie- what do you want?
Matthew- well we've already got a girl a boy would be nice

So it's now four months on, Matthew and Sadie are just off for another scan
Matthew-.......... so what's it's sex
Doctor- Oh it looks like a little girl no wait it could be a boy
Matthew- Great
Two days later Matthew and Sadie got married, Sadie asked Claire to be a bridesmaid
3 months on Sadie went into labour while having a argument with Carl, Sadie gave birth to a little baby boy and him and Sadie decided to call him Thomas Max King. Matthew was thrilled to bits that he got a son, he says his life is perfect. got two children one of each sex
