I love it! it;s so great and romantic and has a happy ending which sadly won't happen in emmerdale
btw you referred to the thing carl said to Chas about her not being a good material for a mother and wife. When did Carl say that? did he really mean that?

erm.. it was in the episode where chas and carl were spltting up, they were having an argument in the kitchen! And she said something about her and her son arron n he said well i want more kids and your not perfect material are you! something along those lines if i remeber corectly.
Yehh anoo they should have happy endings!

Sorry a bit of a spoiler here!
Carl does confess to grace but she trys to get him to tell the police it was matthew and jimmy! Read it in one of the discussion forums on another site!

I read the spoiler. In fact I try to keep up to date with the spoilers as I'm intrigued by the story.
But I thought Grace didn't believe Carl he killed his dad and that's why she wanted him to admit it was Matthew/Jimmy

I read it on digital spy but the thing that she didn't believe him was my assumption as the spoiler only said she tried to persuade Carl to grass on jimmy and matthew

Matt stood up to his brothers defence
" Yeh yous all gossip far too much you can never keep anything secret! your always gossiping about someone trying to destroy someone elses life, i would have sadie with me now if i was affraid of the lies and gossip you would make up about her!, Shes a great mum to joey and yeh i still do love her so gossip about that! and carl and grace there really happy toghter and yess ive had my doubts about grace but shes a wonderful mum to harriet and an amazing partner for carl! so you make us the kings the bad guys here when really were not worse than yous spreading lies and gossping!"
Carl gave a greatful look at matt and matt smiled back
Jimmy said" Come on were off!"

The Atmosphere was tence between jimmy and matt all the way home but still the conversation flowed talking about grace and carl and their plans.
When they arrived at home farm matthew and grace went upstairs to put joey and harriet to bed. Matt started to talk to grace
"God i really think i pushed it there a bit far with jimmy?"
"Hes Got Jane now and if its sadie you want go for it! honestly if my relationship with carl had taught me something always do what you want to do!"
Matt smiled" thanks so do you realy think i should make a go of it with sadie?"
"Well if you love her and she still loves you go for it!"

Matt and grace came down stairs and went into the living room
Just before going into the living room matt stopped grace
"So you really think i should sort things out with sadie"
"Well if its what you want and your sure go for it"
Matt Grapped the house phone and his moblie and headed into the kitchen." Ill Be 10 mins just tell them in still with joey!"
"ok" Smiled grace and headed into the living room
Carl was lying infront of the fire and jimmy and jane were snuggled up on the sofa. Grace layed next to carl and he cuddled her in
"So hows you and jane" Asked carl
"Well were great and to be honest were thinking about moving away and settling down!"
"Really" Carl answered back in shock
"Yes weve been thinking about it for weeks, we've found a nice place in glasgow and really think we could settle down there"Jayne said
"So hows yous two" Jimmy asked
"Well were just signing the final contracts for the house in london and graces flat is nearly sold so were nearly off!" Carl said "so we should be gone in 3 weeks, when are you going!"
"Well we've just put the offer in for the house in glasgow and its been accepted so a guess 6 weeksish!" Jimmy answered
Matt came throgh the door with a smile on his face "What yous all gossiping about? "
"Just about moving away" Jimmy answered
"ohh were you moving to james!"
"Well that what i wanted to tell yous all that me and jane are moving but carl and grace heard it first!"
"Thats great but jimmy ive gto some news for you!"
Matt was interuped by a knock on the door
"Ill go and get that" Matt said
Matt opened the door and there stood her, she smiled for once and lent into matthew! he kiseed her and smiled!
"God ive missed you!" She said
Matt answered" Finally we can be happy toghter, you've changed from what ive heard! So are we going to be a family?"
"Of corse ive changed, i really needed too i wasnt being a good role model if i carried on the way i was going!"
Matt took her into the house and held her hand, he opened the door and presented her to the crowd in the living room!
"Its You" Jimmy answered

Sadie stood there and explained it all what she had done since the kidnap and had apoligised, showing this sadie had really changed! She apoligised to jimmy about everything that had happened between them.
Jimmy and carl both realised sadie had changed
they both introduced her to their new partners and put their grudges behind them!
It turned out matthew was leaving with sadie and joey the same night, he was moving away for good!
Matt loaded his car while sadie put joey into her car. They both met at the front of her car and they put their arms round each other and kissed tenderly. Sadie got into her car and drove off towards her and matthews home now.
Matt said goodbye to everyone at the door and thanked grace!
He then got into his car and drove off. He drove through the village, stopped for one last final look, he would miss perdy but he was with sadie now and he guessed he would miss the wolly many happy of times in their he laughed! He then stopped at the graveyard only looking at max's and mums grace and knew they would approve! He smiled thought about all his lose ends he would need to end in emmerdale eg the houses,Company but if he was going to make a new life he had to give it all up and he then drove out off emmerdale. That was it matthew gone for good, out of emmerdale and looking as if he was never coming back but he was happy with sadie and joey, everything he could want!

With Matt and joey gone the house seemed much queiter. No more real exightment but from what they had heard he was having a great time in the cotswolds with sadie!
Carl woke early staring at grace lying still fast asleep next to him
"God shes Beautiful" He thought to himself
With jimmy and jane having took harriet for the weekend to the kings brothers aunties. carl decided he was going to make today special and romantic for grace.
Carl got ready and went downstairs, he put strawberrys and champagne on a tray and carried it upstairs
He woke grace with a tender kiss and presented her with the strawberrys and champagne
"ohh carl this is lovely, thank you!" She said before returning the kiss. They both lay in bed feeding each other strawberrys and champagne. Carl pulled her close and kissed her forehead and said" You have 30 mins to get ready then im taking you somewhere!"
"ohh where" she said looking supprised
"Youll have to wait ad see!" he replyed with a grin on his face

Grace got ready and walked downstairs where carl was waiting. She looked beautiful in her white linen pants and her yellow cardigan with her engagment ring sparking on her finger. He smiled at her and scooped her up in his arms proceeding to carry her to the car.
They had been driving for a while and it seemed all they saw was more and more green fields, the only change of scenery was when the coast appeared on their right. It seemed to take ages but then they arrived. A beautiful castle with acres of lovely unspoilt land and the coastal views behind it!
"I hope you like it mrs king beacause thats where we are getting married on the 22nd of november!"
Grace burst into tears
"Ohh my god carl its beautiful but the 22nd of october its only 6 weeks away we would have only just moved a few weeks before!"
"i know but why wait, i carnt wait until your mrs king!"
Grace pulled him close and kissed him!
They spent the rest of the day in the castle, on the beach and in a near by resturant, it was the perfect day!

The Wedding day!

From that day things looked so much brighter for everyone.Firstly
jimmy and jayne had moved to glasgow and then discovered they were expecting a baby! Secondly matt and sadie were still very much in love engaged to be exact and joey loved having his mum and dad together. Fianlly grace and carl have moved to their house in london ( a old victorian town house it was perfect) they had planned the perfect wedding and today was their day

The castle was filled with the king family, the remaining baraclough relatives and friends from leeds and london! The main hall where carl and grace were getting married was decorated with white flowers and with a very slight hint of pale green today was going to be perfect!

Carl already waiting at the front of the hall wearing a dark black suit and a large smile, stood waiting for grace.
Grace appeared at the grand doors at the back arm in arm with charles vaughn. She Looked beautiful, a cream dress with a hint of pale green pattern that matched her beautiful make up and blonde hair. Carl thought she looked like a godess!
She walked down the isle with baby harriet as her bridesmaid, grace felt so overcome with emotion. They finally met at the front and both stared into each others eyes while the music still played.
The ceromony was perfect, every word seemed perfect and matched how they both felt. Grace was Mrs king and carl couldnt have been happier. They all sat at the large family table, matthew giving a speach followed by carl. Carls speech was truley ment from the heart every word he spoke was true, she was his Queen! Carl Raised a glass of champagne a toast to his beautiful wife! He Turned To Her and Smiled
"You Not Drinking Yours?" Carl looking at the champagne
Grace Smiled
"What!" Carl curious to know
"I Would Love To But This Morning I Found Out Baby 2's On The Way!"
Carl Bursed into tears and hugged grace
Thomas and Anya Came Rushing over
Carl pulled grace, thomas, anya and Harriet Close
A Perfect Family Now, all 6 Of Them

Part One: Things Do Come Back!
(Grace has started her new job as dci in london and is 6 months pregnant..Carl Runs his own horlage business and they have thomas and anya living with them)
Carl couldnt believe his eyes he stared even more at the scan picture, it was the double of him, it made him feel sick. He started a new life away from all that why is it coming back to him??
Grace: So what do you think? (talking about the 4d scan)
Carl: Hmm ,, nice darlin what ever you say ( his mind else where)
Grace: CARL! This is our future son and your not even bothered, weve been married 6 months but look its not to late for me to walk away!
Carl: Sorryy Grace its not that and if you leave me well ill be a mess
Grace: Look carl talk about what is on your mind and ill help!
(Carl staring at his shoes really didnt know what to say,, his son that he would never be able to bond with all because of him)
Carl: Look it would just hurt you if i told you
Grace: Say it!
Carl:Well..
Grace: Say it carl ( Looking rather worried)
Carl: He LOOKS The Double Of My Dad, the one i killed !
(Grace felt speachless, she picked up the scan and omg it did,, there was no doubting it)

(Grace held her stomach, she suddenly flet confused! It was their future son and she loved it soo much but its looks reminded them of someone who had caused so much pain, but with out him they wouldnt be together would they??)
Grace: Carl Our Son Looks Like your dad but it will never turn the way he did ill make sure of it and anyway with out your incident i wouldnt be with you like this
(Carl loved graces way with words, it soothed him like nothing he used to imagaine. He Loved her gentle words wrapping up and making him feel better)
Carl: Your right baby, I love you so much and this baby too
(Grace was glad her words had been right, she had delt with so much heartache in the past stories she was never going to tell carl and she couldnt face this turning into another one of those!)
Grace: I Love you to baby, your my world and thomas and anya i love like my own and well our two, things i though i would never experience!
(Carl though Grace was right she was soon to be a mother to four and it was all brought on by him but he loved the new way she was and he was only being stupid about the scan wasnt he?)

Grace: What! And dont talk to me like that
Carl: Look Just Read This
(Grace sat and read the letter)
Grace: So Basically shes blaming me for her not being able to see her kids full time, when i correctly remeber it was her descision for them to move to london
Carl: Shes an absolute joke!
Grace: Well carl the letter, how ever we deal with it, its going to be me jobless and move back up to leeds or stay here both options well have no thomas and anya
Carl: Its going to end up to the old times when i could only see them when she wanted me to
(Carl sheds a tear)
Carl: She said we could have the kids in london as long as she had them the holidays, but i guess that plan only worked when she had her boyfriend!
Grace: Carl it really is up to you what to do !
(Carl sits and wonders)
Carl: It just seems ever since we came down here its been nothing but trouble, my dads death its coming back to haunt me grace,, im being serious!
Grace: Dont be stupid its just coleen wanting ever thing her own way
Carl: So what about the scan pictures and look im ending up like my dad working all ours never seeing you, our kids closer to their mother or step mother rather than their father, grace its killing me keeping this secret!
Grace: Carl i really dont know what to say!
Carl: Look you can still Walk
Grace: And whyy would i want to do that, single mother of two at 40, no job! yeah carl thats really what i wanted in life!!
Carl: Well i dont know any other option, our life it would be normal if i didnt have this secret over me!
(Grace sat and thought)
Grace: Look carl,, give the kids back to coleen,, we'll move back up to leeds!!
Carl: And That solves what!
Grace: Well i'll know we'll see thomas and anya less but it will be one less problem off our backs!
Carl: So my kids their the problem
Grace: Dont you dare say it like that, i love them kids like i love harriet but it will be one less thing to worry about!
Carl: Whatever!
Grace: And thats ment to mean
Carl: Well It doesnt solve the problem of my dads murder and moving up to leeds well thats just rubbing salt in the woond i want to forget not remeber!

(Grace started to cry! why had she got involved in this at all?)

Carl: Yeah One That would Solve Everything
Grace: Go On!
Carl: Ill confess,, ill give the kids back to coleen,, I'll sign the business and all my things over to you,, Grace you'll have everything and i'll be free of this burden!!
Grace: CARL ARE YOU STUPID! IVE JUST SAID I DIDNT WANT TO BE A SINGLE MOTHER OF TWO!! AND I CERTAINTLY DONT WANT MY HUSBAND ROTTING BEHIND BARS!! AND EVEN I HAVE ALL THE THINGS IN THE WORLD I WOULDNT HAVE YOU YOU'D BE LOCKED BEHING BARS AND ILL NEVER BE ABLE TO KISS YOU! I'D ALSO BE THE BIGGEST LAUGHING STOCK IN THE POLICE FORCE!! "OO POOR GRACE MARRIED TO A MURDER AND SINGLE MOTHER TO TWO,, AND SHE WAS MENT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST DCI'S AROUND. WOUDLNT HER FATHER BE ASSHAMED!!

(Grace Gripped her tummy and started to cry)

Carl: Yeah right grace, Anything to get out of a difficult possition, you carnt anyway your only 6 and a half months pregnant!
Grace: Carl i Am! And How dare you say things like that, you complete selfish idiot! Look carl thats i't you must think so little of me and your kids obliously come first so im off!
(Grace opened the front door and left with harriet)
Carl: Dont ever Come Back!!

What had he just said, he always said things at the spur of the moment , he needed her! There was no way she was coming back now so he made up his mind. He Tidyed the house and packed all of his kids things. Then he packed graces things and left note

"Grace im sorry i had to be cruel to be kind, i needed to do this,, you are perfect in ever single way and i truley will never deserve you! Everything i have i leave to you and our 4 kids, Your amazing Baraclough And even more so when you became mrs king. My life should be perfect with you, but ive got this one secret i need to shed!

The Birth Of Their Son ,, Carl Junior!
That's The name Carl Had Chosen,, After Himself!
Grace decided what ever had just been said a few hours previous would be forgotton and they could move on, she needed him!
The hospital said that she could go and collect some stuff from home but the baby would have to stay being premature

Her Key in the lock, she felt sick this is where he life had fallen only a few hours ago. She opened the front door to find the place practically empty and her suitcases near the door
She read the note and cried!
Oh No She needed to get in touch with him, try and stop him, she needed him! From here on, it was all a race of time!
