Abigail Fisher (Siobhan) grew up with a brother with autism and hopes to raise awareness of the condition. Abigail will join children with autism (supported by the Yorkshire Post Christmas Appeal) for an evening of fundraising and fun.
She will switch on the Christmas lights at The Mill Discount Store, Batley on 20th November and will set off from Batley Market Place at 5.30pm. Real reindeer will pull Santa and Abigail in the sleigh.
The Christmas procession is becoming something of a tradition in Batley and Abigail's presence will add an extra special touch.
