TWO OF the hottest properties in soapland- Dominic Brunt (Paddy Kirk) and Charlotte Bell (Laurel Potts, left) - are making a guest appearance at the annual Sion Mills Strawberry Fair on the weekend of June 17 to June 19.
The stars of UTV's Emmerdale are line up for the event which has been running for a number of years and grown over time into a huge fun weekend.
Strawberries and cream are still the centrepiece of the weekend but other events include the popular Pig on a Spit BBQ and dance, (admission by ticket only) on Thursday.
On Friday there is the heritage walk around the village beginning at 7pm from the church hall.
For younger people the marquee will host a free teenage disco.
Saturday is the Family Fun Day featuring bouncy castles, swing boats, hoopla. rickety wheel, books, plants, cakes, craft exhibition, face painting, Punch and Judy show, dog show, refreshment stalls, burgers and white elephant stalls.
The wee man from Strabane, Hugo Duncan, will be there to broadcast live for Radio Foyle.
Then there will be the parade featuring Laurel and Paddy and this year's Strawberry Princess, Sarah Noble, leaving the church hall at 1.30pm.
