The weather may be grim for the time of year, but Emmerdale stunner Amy Nuttall is certain to raise the temperature in Newtownabbey this weekend.
Amy, who plays Chloe Atkinson in the soap, will provide a spark of glamour at the Newtownabbey Community BBQ Championship, part of this year's Shoreline festival which is being staged at Loughshore Park on Saturday.
The fun sparks off at Maloney's Bar and Restaurant this Friday evening with a BBQ demonstration by the Swinefellows BBQ team from Canada, current worldwide BBQ champions.
The evening will include line dancing, BBQ and buffet. Admission is free and tickets are available from Newtownabbey Borough Council's reception at Mossley Mill - tel 9034 0000.
And on Saturday the heat will be on when community groups from throughout Newtownabbey battle it out in the championship - with Amy and the borough's mayor among the judges.
Teams will be judged in a number of categories, including best fish, chicken and drib dishes with garnish, and best dressed team.
And if the smell of all the delicious food is too much to bear, there's a family BBQ from 5pm.
