The celebrity game at Swinton Park, near Masham, is being held to raise money for Martin House Children's Hospice at Boston Spa.

As well as what is set to be an entertaining and hard fought game, it will also be a great day out for all the family with a bouncy castle, raffle, refreshments, bar and much more.

A Martin House spokesman said: "We are bowled over with the news that a celebrity cricket match is to take place to raise funds for the work of the hospice."

The match will take place in the grounds of the luxury castle hotel on September 11, with gates opening at noon before the game starts at 1.30pm. Tickets are only available on the day and cost £10 per car and its occupants

Can somebody confirm the date of this match cos it says in the club newsletter that it's 4th September but all the searches on the net reveal 11th.
