A famous face from the small screen is coming to a Norwich theatre this weekend to help raise money for charity.
Richard Skelton, who plays Dr Adam Forsyth in Emmerdale, will be appearing at the Norwich Playhouse on Saturdayin An Evening of Jazz and Cabaret.
The event, which is an annual fund raising concert, has been organised by local promoter Chris Bailey.
Richard, who was seen in Norfolk last summer in Salute To The Rat Pack at Sennowe Park, Guist, will be one of a number of artists on stage raising funds and awareness for the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Supported by the John Morton Trio, Richard will feature both standards and tracks from his soon-to-be-released CD.
Also appearing will be vocalist Louise Rutkowski, an instant hit since her performance at the 2003 concert, pianist James Goodwin who will show off his R&B style.
The Simon Brown Quartet which includes Freddie Gavita on trumpet, current star of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and studying at the Royal Academy of Music.
They will also provide the backing for Essex based singer Tracy Mepham, making her first appearance at the Playhouse.
London based singer and regular performer at Ronnie Scott's, Marie Murphy, will open the second half accompanied by the John Morton Trio, plus a special duet with her friend vocalist Wendy Roe, and will be followed by Richard Shelton to close this exciting mix of jazz styles.
