The 17th Yorkshire Awards
If you want to some star-studded action on your doorstep this year’s Yorkshire Awards is the place to be!
Gorgeous Nell McAndrew and style queen Linda Barker will be sharing the red carpet with Emmerdale’s Mr Nasty Eric Pollard and his ex-wheeler dealer partner-in-crime Stephanie Stokes – otherwise known as Chris Chittell and Lorraine Chase.
Brian Blessed will also be among a host of other stars all celebrating the finest our county has to offer on Friday, December 2nd at Yorkshire Television’s main studios on Kirkstall Road, in Leeds.
Calendar’s Christine Talbot and Duncan Wood will be hosting the event which will see awards presented for arts, entertainment, sport, business - and to a local hero.
There will also be a special presentation made in memory of the late Richard Whiteley.
Photographers wishing to capture arrival shots are advised that celebrities will be arriving from 6-45 p.m. onwards.
The Yorkshire Awards will be televised on ITV1 Yorkshire
at 11 p.m. on Thursday, 7th December 2005.
