Organisers of England’s first festival of mistletoe held on the south Shropshire border have hailed it such a success that plans are now afoot for a bigger and better festival next year.
More than 1,500 people flocked to Tenbury Wells for the festival earlier this month, when Emmerdale stars Lorraine Chase and Chris Chittell performed the official opening.
Visitors were not only able to buy mistletoe from England’s official mistletoe capital, but a number of other events, based around the ancient herb also took place.
