EMMERDALE babe Julia Mallam has revealed how she clicked with her cameraman boyfriend.
Co-star Ben Freeman set up the pair by joking how much Julia liked him.
Julia, 23, is coy about revealing his identity. Known only as Mark, he is 20 and works behind the scenes on the ITV soap.
She said: "I could have killed Ben at the time but I suppose, with hindsight, I've got a lot to thank him for.
"When we were working on set, I'd stupidly told Ben I thought Mark was fit. Next thing I know, Ben said in front of the whole crew, 'What's that? Mark's really fit?' I nearly died but it did the trick.
"Mark asked for my number and it went on from there. In my profession I suppose you have to be wary of people chatting you up just because you're on the telly but Mark's not at all like that.

"He's just a lovely, genuine guy and he's not fazed by actors at all because he's around them all day at work."
The pair have been an item for almost two years but Julia - who plays single mum Dawn Woods in the Yorkshire soap - says she has no plans to rush down the aisle.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it," she laughed. "I get excited about seeing Mark if I haven't seen him for a couple of days.
"I get butterflies and I think it's so nice that I still feel like that even though we've been seeing each other for nearly two years.
"I'd guess that if you live with each other, that feeling wanes after a while but I want it to last for as long as possible.
"Because we don't live in each other's pockets, we don't take each other for granted and we don't let arguments escalate. I think that's important.
"I definitely want to get married and have children one day but because we're so young we don't want to put pressure on ourselves.
"We're happy to go with the flow and see where we end up. Let's just say I'm in no rush to go and try on white dresses just yet."
Julia says her heart has also been melted by two-and-a-half-year-old Connor Lee who plays her toddler son TJ in the soap.
She explained: "Little Connor's got me all broody. I really want a baby - and I'd love one just like him, he's such a sweetie.
"He calls me mama on set so that he doesn't get confused between me and his real mum, who he calls mummy.
"It's so sweet. The other day he announced, bold as you like, that he was going to get married.
"Someone asked him who he was going to marry and he looked at me and said, 'I'm going to marry mama'. It was so funny. He's always got us in stitches."
Julia deferred her entry to Manchester University after taking up her first acting role at 18 in Take Me, with Robson Green.
After that her career took off and she landed her Emmerdale role three years ago. She said: "I really feel like I'm having the time of my life just now." The same can't be said for Julia's alter-ego. Dawn will be shattered when mum Jean (Susan Penhaligon) announces that she's starting a long-term relationship with Dawn's ex-husband - and TJ's dad - Terry (Billy Hartman).
Then she has to face the ongoing threat of prosecution for benefit fraud after her ex Scott (Ben Freeman) shopped her to the Benefits Agency for her part-time work. The pair come to blows over it on screen this week.
