They could have found a better piccy though If I were a star, I would definately be different and never ever expose my boobs Remember the tight pullovers that were thought to be ever so sexy?

Did anyone see her in Mayo tonight, she looked good and younger than when she was in Bad Girls.

I think its a bloody disgrace her bringing this up after all these years, what a cheap slapper, what good now does bringing this up, all she is achieving is looking like a total bike and more than likely very much upsetting Bob Geldolfs children who have already been through more than enough, some people have no morals or standards whatsoever.

In my era it was always said that "a lady never tells". Nor a gentleman come to that, so I guess we know what she isn't.
Must have been painful for the children, but I suppose she only made a financial calculatioin, sex for money, I'm sure there's a name for that isn't there?

how old are you posting these comments about 14 she is writing a biography for god sake its all about her life why is she the slapper she was 17 at the time for god sake and its part of her life she has had a crap few years losing her best freind in an accident being blackmailed and losing her husband to the ugly ginger minger sam giles so quite frankly grow up and get a life instead of slagging her off i think she looked great on mayo last night and will hopefully return to the dales in the near future i will certainly be buying her new book.(as for sir bob maybe a bad choice and he really is no saint all he wants is money money money off people and he dont give much him self if the new rich list is anything to go by and as for hurting his children with this book i think there mother did that all by herself when she did what she did.

Oh deary me, what a reaction, the point i am personally trying to make is that of course she has a past but what is the point of naming names now after what 25 years ago, it is obviously just a clear way of trying to boost her career, these things when they come out have a habit of hurting alot of people, namely BG's children, i'm sorry but i dont see the neccessity myself and fair comment about the childrens mother, like i said they have been through enough, by the way i am not 14 and alot of people have crap happen in their lives, its no excuse, you though are obviously a fan..........

For what ever reason, who the hell would want to admit to an affair with Bob Geldof

For what ever reason, who the hell would want to admit to an affair with Bob Geldof LMAO, that was my exact first thought when I saw that headline.

Me too. If I were Claire King, I'd be terrified of someone finding out!

Has anybody bought/read Claire's book yet? I bought it yesterday and even a few chapters into the book, it's a "can't put it down" read.
Some biographies have pages of 'un-necessary' boring waffle but Claire's seems to be page after page of interesting and lively experiences of a very full and sometimes distressing life. There seems to be several chapters about her Emmerdale years (including her audition days) so I'm sure that section will be interesting too.
Any fan of Emmerdale/the Tates must buy this book, they won't be disappointed. The tabloids (as usual) have sensationalised just a small proportion of her life (the Geldoff story) and made it sound more sordid that it actually was.
Well done Claire.

quite agree with you i got the book on thurs and could not put it down have now finished the book she has dated quite a lot of high profile men i also give me great pleasure to know what goes around comes around and peter and sam giles have now split up i thought it was quite a nasty way to find out your husband is sleeping with someone else through a nasty letter from sams husband blaming her and she also does not rule out returning to emmerdale.
