From www.thisisstaffordshire.co.ukTwo of Emmerdale's most popular characters are to make an appearance at the International Cheese Show at Nantwich next week. Actresses Nicola Wheeler and Ursula Marsden, who starred in the soap as Nicola Blackstock and Alice Dingle, will be at the event on July 26. The two soap stars will be appearing as this year's Cathedral City show celebrities. The pair are given the task of judging one of the most keenly contested awards at the show, the Cheese Lover's Trophy, sponsored by Cathedral City. There are almost 200 classes judged during the day, but the Cheese Lover's Trophy is special. The trophy is the only event where different types of cheese compete for the coveted prize. The Woolpack regulars will be select the winning cheese based on which one they would most want to serve to their family and friends. But anyone who visits doesn't have to leave the cheese tasting to celebrities. There will be samples available at the Cathedral City Stand and around the cheese marquee. Nicola and Ursula will also be signing autographs at the Cathedral City Stand throughout the day in aid of the Leukaemia Research Fund.
