Can't they play in Middlesbrough? I would definitely go there then as Middlesbrough is within easy reach. Is someone going? Please don't forget taking pictures then. mo55y, you do have the e-mail address of Ben Freeman?

Okay, I have just found out that this place is near Middlesbrough. I could easily go there and watch the match. I am really tempted as the Middlesbrough FC is my favorite English football team and seeing some Emmerdale actors as well would be even better...

How were you getting to Middlesbrough? If it was by train, then Marske is on the same line (4 stops) Or by bus, there are a few from Middlesbrough to Marske (not sure of the numbers) Or by car, it's about 9 miles.

It doesn't sound like you had too a good a day. This site isn't an official Emmerdale one, tis just a fan site.
If you write to the pruduction studios requesting fan cards, you'll probably be sent some. If you get your son to write to the cast members he likes care of the studio most likely get a card with an autograph on it. Lots from here have done it.
The studio address is Emmerdale Production Centre 27 Burley rd Leeds, LS3 1JT

The main point I want to make is that I do not see this as in anyway a fault of Emmerdale.
Both the footy and the cricket team usually go to great pains to make it known that they are nowt to do with the show any more than being made up from cast and crew.
I have visited the Marske FC web site and would respectfully suggest that you point your compaint at them. Their pre match publicity said nowt about ticket restrictions or anything else...This is therefore the fault of the Marske FC NOT Emmerdale. The Emmerdale team are willing to put themselves out and play for the fun of it and for a good cause. It is voluntary and not part of their contract of employment.
Please don't knock Emmerdale for something that is not Emmerdale's fault.

I should have added that Boggy. I sometimes wonder how the teams find the time with 6 nights a week and playing the matches.

Boggy, you are absolutely right. It is absolutely not Emmerdale's fault. I can't speak for the others but in my case I have to blame myself for not getting a ticket beforehand.

Have forgotten to mention that there was a report on the local/regional North East Today news or however they are called. Last night of course! Watching it frustrated me even more as it was obviously fantastic.
BTW, Emmerdale won 4:2.

It was good. Ben Freeman said it's the biggest crowd they have played in front of and that they hope to be invited back next year....which they no doubt will.

I already knew a few of them but the others are great as well. Especially the ones of Ben Freeman! Cheers, mo55y!
