From ICwales HE left a murderous trail in Emmerdale as Dr Adam Forsythe but actor Richard Shelton has left the Woolpack for the Rat pack when he stars in the Prince's Trust 30th birthday celebration at Duffryn Gardens tonight. And Richard, who will perform big band songs from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, hinted viewers might not have seen the last of the dastardly doc. Richard, who tried to murder Steph, played by Lorraine Chase, and murdered her brother Terence, said: "He's currently on the run from police but let's just say that the Yorkshire police are very good! "He was an absolute joy to play. It's so much more fun playing a nasty character and he was certainly that." Since leaving the soap, Richard has been performing his big band songs all over the country and is looking forward to coming down to the pretty Vale of Glamorgan venue to perform." He said: "I'm one of those old-fashioned entertainers who sings and acts and I love to do both." nTickets are still available from www.princes-trust.org.uk/dyffryn or by calling 0870-534-4444. Special hospitality tickets and picnics are also available.
