One of the highlights of this year's Ederney Carnival will see Pig Racing return to the village streets.
The Pig Racing has been a hugely popular event at the Community Carnival in the past and this year the event returns by veru popular demand.
This year what is sure to prove a huge attraction on the day will be an appearance from ITV1's Emmerdale vet Paddy Kirk (Aka Dominic Brunt).
Paddy is one of the most popular characters in Emmerdale and with his veterinary skills he will be on hand to ensure that fair play is order of the day and perhaps administer medical attention to his porky friends that my need it.
Paddy Kirk will be mixing and mingling with festivals goers as he makes his whistle stop appearance direct from the Dales of Yorkshire.
Paddy Kirk (Aka Dominic Brunt) said he is looking forward to his first visit to Co. Fermanagh, even though he has been in Ireland in numerous occasions, he wants to experience the local hospitality and may even sample a little of the local brew when he is here.
However, he has stressed that apart from the pigs that may get injured in the race, he will not be extending his veterinary skills to the animals of Co. Fermanagh, but will gladly indulge in soaking up the hospitality and is looking forward to meeting as many people as he can on Saturday 5th August
