From Skegness today.
Cain Dingle at Stock Car Stadium
ONE of TV's biggest soap villains, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), from Emmerdale, will be the guest of honour at Skegness Stock Car Stadium on Thursday, August 24, to meet his fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs.
It will be a start of a busy week at the thriving circuit, with four meetings in six days.
The hectic bank holiday period, starting tomorrow, features the Las Vegas Stunt Show which has received rave reviews this year and includes Monster Trucks and a firework display.
The on-track action will provide plenty of high speed crashes from the superb 1300 stock cars.
First race will be at 7.30pm.
On Sunday afternoon, at 2pm, four formulae will be on the raceway - TSR bangers, junior rods, micro bangers and GT hot rods.
Twenty-four hours later, on Monday afternoon, will be the prestigious United Kingdom championship.
But for many the highlight will be the ultra spectacular Bank Holiday Caravan Race.
To see the spectacular carnage created by the caravans, being towed behind bangers, become totally wrecked is a spectacular sight.
It will be championship action again next Tuesday, August 29, when Skegness presents the GT hot rod United Kingdom championship.
In an eagerly awaited session the always exciting TSR bangers will be in support - first race 7.30pm.
Ingoldmells Mark Simpson faces the pinnacle of the Brisca F2 season when he contests the World Final at Mildenhall on Saturday, August 26.
Simpson has his best ever chance of being crowned champion when he starts the big race on his favoured shale surface from the ideal position on the inside of row 2.
