My new best friend section-
REAL LIFE: -Joseph Gilgun, 22. Born and grew up in Lancashire, where he still lives, as well as in Leeds.
CURRENT FORM: -Emmerdale's rough diamond, Eli Dingle, whom he has been playing for three months.
PREVIOUS FORM:- Attended drama school in Oldham. Played Jamie Armstrong in Coronation Street, 1994-7.
HOBBIES:- Films, live music, hanging out with friends.
WILL IT WORK?- If Joseph had more time, he would, he says, join a gym. Music to my ears. If I could be bothered, I would join a gym, too. I love the 'if, that word that prevents one from doing so much in life. At least our arms will get plenty of exercise, as Joseph enjoys champagne (I find lifting two magnums at a time is good for the pectorals) and cutting into rare steak. I prefer mine well done, but one man's meat is another man's exercise.
