From the Yorkshire post
Stars from Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Heartbeat pledged their support for Hands Up If You're Against Bullying, by Drighlington-based Kingfisher Windows. They put handprints on a pane of glass to go on display at the NSPCC-backed Kirklees National Anti-Bullying conference, from November 20 to 23, at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield. Actress Georgia Slowe, who plays Perdy Hyde-Sinclair in Emmerdale, said: "This is such a creative way of raising awareness of a really serious issue. "Bullying has such a devastating effect on its victims – it's up to every one of us to make sure it's seen as completely unacceptable behaviour." The finished artwork will be exhibited at schools following the event to strengthen the anti-bullying message.
