PATRICK: DAD WAS BIGAMIST

EMMERDALE star Patrick Mower filmed a TV show tracing his roots - and discovered his late dad was a bigamist.
The star, 68, broke down when he learnt he had three half-sisters from ex-miner Archie's secret second family.
Patrick - TV romeo Rodney Blackstock - said yesterday: "I always knew he'd been married before he met my mother. But as far as we can find out, he never got divorced.
"My mother died four years ago but I could never have asked her about it because it would mean her life was a lie.
"I wish I'd known about this 60 years ago."
He has now met many of his previously unknown family in Caerphilly, near Cardiff, in emotional scenes aired on BBC1 Wales next Wednesday.
He added: "I used to get letters saying, 'I'm your cousin' or 'I'm your auntie', but I ignored them.
"Now it now turns out I have three sisters and lots of relatives in Wales. They are lovely people."
