From Yorkshire evening post CELEBRITIES will be in Leeds city centre tomorrow to offer advice about how to get through the festive season. Emmerdale stars Verity Rushworth and Anthony Audenshaw, who play Donna Windsor-Dingle and Bob Hope, will hand out Christmas survival guides with tips on how to beat anxiety and stress. They will be in the Victoria Quarter from 11am until 3pm, with Pippa Cole – the Fairy in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Carriageworks Theatre. The guide, in the style of a Christmas card, has been produced by Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the city's mental health services, in association with Information for Mental Health, an organisation which provides resources and information about mental health for people in the Leeds area. The Samaritans expect 10 per cent more calls than usual at this time of the year. The guide includes numbers which can be called for help. Huddersfield-born acting star Patrick Stewart and former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon sent messages of support, To become a member of the partnerships trust, log on to www.get-involved.co.uk.
