PRESTON Guild Hall's new season will start with a bang when the star-studded Agatha Christie production, The Unexpected Guest, comes to the venue from June 11 to 16.
Starring TV veteran Jack Ellis, who is known to millions as evil Jim Penner in seven series of ITV's Bad Girls, the "beautifully staged" murder mystery has won heaps of praise from critics.
Joining Jack is Tracey Childs who most recently starred in Born And Bred and is equally well known from her role in the TV series Howard's Way.

Performing alongside are Emmerdale's Frazer Hines, and two talented and versatile performers Mark Wynter and Virginia Stride.
The play opens on Monday, June 11 and runs until Saturday, June 16. For tickets call box office on 0845 344 2012.
