From Lynn News TV's Karl backs learning for life By Louise Brain ACTOR Karl Davies interrupted his filming schedule to help launch this autumn's programme of adult education courses in West Norfolk. Ex-Emmerdale star Mr Davies plays trainee solicitor Lyle Anderson in the new ITV series Kingdom, which is filmed in Swaffham, starring alongside Stephen Fry, Hermione Norris and Celia Imrie. He showed his support for adult education by helping Norfolk County Council promote its new directory of courses, including everything from pottery to Polish. The county's head of adult education, Ms Beverley Evans, said: "Returning to learning can take a lot of courage. Our staff and teachers are here to support our learners every step of the way, whatever their needs." Many courses are free including those designed to help people brush up on English, maths and computer skills. Course directories are available from libraries or by calling the information and enrolment hotline on 0844 800 8002.
