Former Emmerdale actress Amy Nuttall and comedian Julian Clary have joined the cast of West-End musical Cabaret.
Theatregoers will be able to see the pair at the Lyric theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue from October 2nd.
Nuttall will take over from another former soap star, Kim Medcalf, in the role of Sally Bowles, a performer in a Berlin nightclub in the years leading up to the second world war.
Clary will step into the shoes of James Dreyfus to play the character of Emcee.
Both performers have experience on the West End stage, with Nuttall coming directly from comedy Boeing Boeing and Clary last seen playing a part in Boy George's musical Taboo.
They will not be the only new additions to Cabaret's cast however, as Angela Richards – who has previously appeared in Cats and Blood Brothers – will take over from Honor Blackman as Fraulein Schneider and Barry James will assume the role of Herr Schultz.
