Corrie veteran Geoffrey Hughes is to head an all-star cast in BBC Three's upcoming Liverpool Nativity.
The actor, best remembered as Eddie Yeats, will star in a contemporary retelling of the Christmas story staged live on the streets of Liverpool.
The supporting cast includes Emmerdale's Cathy Tyson as Herodia.
Ex-Brookside star Jennifer Ellison will co-star as an angel.
Only Fools and Horses' Paul Barber (Denzil) will play a landlord in the one-off that can be seen on December 16.
