A Strange Sense of Déjà vu
THE SEQUEL TO A SHADOW OF MEMORIES. Ritey titey --- Ich habe the next installment... its a series of flashbacks some will be Chas' POV, others will be Dean's. Hope you like it!! Chapter ICHAS I hate English. I am so bad at it that it’s unbelievable. Like I care. I spend all my time messing around at the back of the classroom, giving cheek to the teachers with my best mate, Dean. I’m standing outside the classroom talking to Seany, Dean and Leah. This fat man wobbles up the corridor. I snigger, watching his saggy moobs flop up and down inside his shirt. Dean whispers something to me and I burst out laughing. He turns and unlocks our classroom. YES, get in! He must be a cover teacher. “Right can we line up against the wall please?” He says in this thick Welsh accent. I swap my Irish accent for his Welsh one. “Come on then sir, snuggle in next to me.” Everyone laughs and I look around grinning. That’s me, the class clown. “What’s your name?” “Uh… well… someone help me?” There’s more laughter. “Her name’s Henrietta, sir.” Dean chips in. “Oh yeah, that’s right.” “Is that right?” “Yep.” He leafs through his register. “There don’t seem to be any Henrietta’s in here.” “Oh dear. Oh goodness me Dean. I think I shall faint.” Very dramatic. He stretches his arms out in mock concern. “Don’t worry my darling. I’m here for you.” The whole class is in hysterics now, except for that nerdy boy at the back, Thomas. What is his problem? He needs to get out more and get a life. I lean back against Dean, my hand resting against my forehead theatrically. I swear I blush a bit as his arms envelope me and take my weight. But he’s my best mate. I’m not supposed to have feelings for him, am I? please please comment!! |

sorry for acting so dead everyone, but i have the next part!! It's a bit short, but i'm trying to get back into this fic... so here it is.
Chapter II
Sitting in the head’s office. Story of my life.
“And this is just not acceptable, I don’t put up with this behaviour… blah blah blah, on and on…”
It’s like just shut the hell up!
I look up at the clock on the wall. The second hand tick and blurs into a haze with Mr Riley’s voice. It’s five to - Dean will be out of English in a minute.
“This is your last warning, Chastity. If you put another toe out of line, there will be serious consequences.”
“My name’s Chas. Use it.” I turn to leave.
“Miss Dingle!”
“What now?” In a tone of exasperation.
“Drop the attitude.”
“Yes sir.” I say it mockingly. Not the best of come backs, but I really can’t be bothered right now. I rush down the stairs quickly to find Dean. A sixth form class leaves, the corridors suddenly flooding with people and voices. I swagger past an older guy, Kieran, who lives two houses away from me.
“We still on for tonight babe?” His mates laugh. I hate it when he does this, but I decide to play along anyway.
“Oh yeah. Don’t bother wearing anything darling, you won’t need it.”
Now follows a series of wolf whistles.
“Make sure you come prepared.” He replies with a wink.
I smirk and walk off. I hate that guy. – I’m such a two faced bitch.
I wonder if Dean sees me that way?

Mwahahahahaha, i have another update! Comments are adored like puppies!! enjoy... Chapter IIICHAS I wander to the lockers alone. It looks like the sixth form class were out very early because no one else is down here yet. We have our lockers in the basement of the Eolas block (Eolas is Irish for knowledge – stupid, I know). Eolas is a complete wreck. The walls used to be red, but they are covered with graffiti and hell knows what else. Two of the windows have been smashed and another has a massive crack down it. If you were looking for your six-week-old hamburger, you’d probably find it attached to the broken radiator. I fling my bag into my locker. I slam the door shut and one of the hinges breaks. I lean against the door, waiting for everyone else to come. I see a short woman approach me with a disapproving expression on her face. Damn, Mrs Edwards is down here. “Hair.” “Yeah, what about it?” “Tie it back. I do not expect to have to speak to you about your uniform every time I see you. And get that ridiculous eyeliner off. It just makes you look tired.” “Whatever.” “Chastity!” “What?” “I asked you to tie your hair back.” “So?” “You are in school Chastity. The uniform rules have not changed.” “Do I look like I care?” A voice hollers down the corridor. “CHAS! You missed the funniest thing!” “Excuse me, I am talking to your classmate.” She turns back to me. “ Now as I understand…“ And again. Blah blah blah. On and on. I stare at her with a you-are-talking-crap look. I glance at Dean and his eyes are fixed on me. It’s not a friendly gaze. He has this wild look in his eyes, full off fire. They look on at me lustfully. I hold the moment before looking away, and even though, I will never admit it, I am unnerved. I have never caught him looking at me like that before, and there is no doubt what was on his mind. *** |

“I need to get my sports stuff.”
“Well then I’m gonna have to take mine back down.”
“Yeah but I don’t want to go on my own.”
“Scared?”
“As if.”
“Just get it quick, I’ll wait here for you.”
“Come with me.”
“I can’t be arsed.”
“Why are you acting so bitchy?”
“I’m not.”
“Uh, yeah you are.”
“Argh FINE!”
“What’s the f**k is your problem?”
“I… nothing.”
“What was you gonna say first?”
“Nothing.”
“Yeah you were.”
“Shut the hell up Chas.”
“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?”
“Nothing.”
“You know what? P*ss off. Just p*ss off.”
“I’ve been waiting for ages to hear you say that.”
“What… what have I done?”
“Don’t start the waterworks. You’re a sl** not a cute little kid.”
SLAP.
“YOU B*****D! HOW DARE YOU? HOW F**KING DARE YOU!”
“I’m not the one f**king Gordon Livesy!”
“He’s just a guy! It doesn’t affect you who I go out with!”
“Maybe it does. Maybe the arrogant cocky Dean you know cares!”
“Yeah, you’re my mate! You’re there so I can have a laugh with you, not to give me relationship advice! If I wanted counselling I’d have phoned Childline!”
“He’s a tw*t. A schmuck.”
“Why do you care?”
“See, you’re not defending him! You don’t like him, you’re just using him and shying away from m…”
