It was7.30pm , and Chas was getting ready to go for Dinner with Carl. The kids where ready for bed and Carl had arranged for Scarlet to babysit for them ,Both Jimmy and Matt had already gone out.
Carl was already dressed in his dinner suit , he was just waiting for Chas and off coarse scarlet, come on Chas ,Carl shouted Scarlet will be here in the minute. OK I'm coming now Chas shouted back, Anya came down stairs first she had been helping Chas get dressed , Carl had not yet seen he outfit he had bought for Chas so she wanted to keep him guessing for as long as possible,Well Carl asked Anya is she ready , No Anya replied she said her dress is to small she wants you to go up to her.
Carl looked at Anya with horror , and then run up the stairs to Chas , when he walked in the room he was stunned , Wow you look beautiful Carl said as he approached her , Chas was wearing a elegant satin green dress with a shoulder wrap and shoes and bag to match, Carl grabbed Chas around the waist and went to kiss her but Chas pushed him away , no don't you'll ruin my make up Chas said , Carl carried on and started kissing her any way ,
They where interrupted by the sound of the door bell, mmmm ill have to get that Carl said come on lets go , as he walked ut the room Chas started laughing he had gone to answer the door with lipstick all over his face.
When Carl opened the door Scarlet and Daz was standing there they stared at Carl's smudged face and burst out laughing , Daz pointed at Carl's face and he quickly realized what the were laughing at , whilst he was wiping his face with his handkerchief he asked Daz what are you doing here, I don't remember asking you, erm Ive come to keep Scarlet company Daz replied sheepishly, they clearly didn't think Carl would have a problem with Daz being there, Oh I see Carl replied you told your mum then , he asked Scarlet. No but se will be OK with it , mmmmm I don't know Carl relied we'll find out shall we.Carl went to he phone as Chas walked down the stairs , Whats up Chas said as Carl passed her , Her she's got Romeo with her cant leave them in alone , I need to phone Carrie, Oh come on Carl Chas said he's a nice lad he wont harm her , Carl looked up with a raised eye brow I'm not getting the blame Chas , Oh come on Carl didn't you go babysitting with girls , Carl looked at Chas and said yeah , yeah I did and thats why I'm phoning Carrie. oh we'll never get out at this rate Chas said starting to get annoyed.
Hello Carrie its Carl , Whats up Scarlet left ages ago , no no its not that she's here , its just that she has Daz with her she reckons you wont mind , I'm making sure thats all, Oh does she now well I do , well what shall I do Carl asked me and Chas are all ready to go out, shall I send her home or what, Well I would rather not leave them but if you can let Thomas and Anya stay up unill i get there witch will be about 9.30 pm that will be fine I'll look after hem for you, will yeah oh thats good of yeah thanks ,
its OK just tell her she is in trouble after all I know what young lads are like don't I.Yeah funny that I do to .Carl said cheekily, yeah Carrie said go on go and enjoy yourself before I change my mind.
Carl had booked a table at Luigi's it is one of the best restaurants in Leeds one where all footballers and famous people go ,
Have I told you you look beautiful tonight Carl said when he was sitting in the taxi , yes has said you don't look to bad yourself Chas replied, oh thanks Carl said I'm glad you think so because I'm going to have a job keeping you to myself tonight you look so good, oh shut up Carl your making me blush Chas said , making you blush , Carl replied Chas Dingle blushing I don think so .
The taxi pulled up outside the restaurant,
Wait there Carl said as he got out f one door don't move ,Carl walked around to chases side of the door and opened it, he held her hand softly as he led her out of the taxi and into the restaurant.Table for two in the executive sweet Carl said , Mr King is it yes Carl replied , follow me when they go to there table there was a violinist playing romantic tunes standing by the table.
Oh Carl this is lovely Chas commented , Carl pulled Chases chair out for her as she sat down, and went to sit down himself, When a Waiter came over with a single red rose , for the lady the waiter said , from the gentleman, Chas took the rose and looked at Carl , your such a sweetheart , thats beautiful thank you, Well Carl said I'm having oyster what about you, yeah Chas said Oyster sounds good to me , all the ime the little man was playing slow music next to them , Chas there is something I want to say , Carl said , oh whats up Chas said sensing Carl was serious , he took her hand over the table , I have been the biggest idiot on the planet at times he said and I haven't always been fare to you I want you to know that I am sorry I know for a fact I could not have gone through these last few months with out you, Cal placed a gift box on the table , I now Ive said this before Chas but I want a fresh start so i got anew ring will you marry me.
Chas picked up the box and open it , Oh Carl its beautiful she said with a tier in her eye,Carl couldn't make out at first weather it was a tier of joy or she was abut to let him down gently, he thought if she does t Will be his own fault the way he has been acting recently, he was that deep in thought that he nearly missed her answer, did she just say yes ,he thought , what Carl said what did you say, yes Chas said of coarse i will, Carl breathed a sigh of relief while Chas sat admiring her new ring.
Waiter Carl shouted can we have a bottle of your finest Crystal champagne.would you like to dance with me Carl asked Chas, What in here yes ,Chas got up she was up for any think Chas and Carl , drank champagne and danced for the next hour to the sweet sound of the violin, stopping only to snog or tell each other how much they whee i love, Carl said Chas this has been the most perfect night of my life.

It was well past midnight when Carl and Chas got back to home farm Carrie was asleep on the settee, Carl and Chas were very drunk and didn't realize the noise they where making
Shush Carl whispered whilst still laughing whilst he tried the door,they woke Carrie up who quickly realized Carl was having trouble with the door , so she got off the settee to let them in ,as Carrie opened the door Carl had just given up trying and grabbed Chas for a kiss leaning against the door, witch meant when the door opened Carl and Chas feel through the door and Chas made the most almighty scream and they both burst out laughing.I'm glad you two find it funny Carrie said standing arms on hips, it took me ages to get those kids to sleep and you two are going to spoil it. Sorry Carrie Carl said quickly realizing she wasn't very pleased,yeah sorry Chas said straightening her self up from the fall. well I hope you remember you have to get those kids up in the morning ,yeah Carl said I will thanks Carrie,Well how did it go then Carrie asked ,perfect Carl replied as Chas pushed her ring finger in Carries face , ooooh lovely Carrie replied , So where's scarlet she not stay with you Carl asked, Yes she's staying her I bought her school uniform over with me she's in bed asleep and I'm going in with her or no-one will be up for school in the morning.Carrie went to leave the room to go to bed and then stopped herself, Look she said why don't you leave the kids to me in the morning I can take them to school you two have a lie in , you will probably still be to drunk in the morning any way, oh are you sure Carrie , Carl replied , yes just leave the school address on the work top and I will sort it out, give You two love birds some time alone tonight I'm sure you have lots to do, good night, Carrie said as she was walking out the door.
Aw shes so nice when she wants to be isn't she Carl,mmmm Carl replied careful not to complement Carrie to much , as Chas has been a little jealous of Carrie in the past.
So what do you want to do since were having a lie in you up for a night cap Carl said grabbing Chas round the waist or would you rather go straight to bed , at witch point Car started passionately kissing Chas, after a couple of minutes Carl broke off , I tell you what he said there is a bottle of wine in the fridge get us a glass each and we can take it to bed with us.
After pouring two glasses of wine and starting to drink it Carl realized he didn't want the wine at least not yet, It was about five im the morning when they finally got to sleep after the most perfect night they had had together in years.

Sorry I only seem to get time to update on a Monday or Tuesday, as I work and also have quite a big family so if I cant up date over the weekend it will be Monday and or Tuesday.Thanks for all you exelant feed back.

It was well gone 12pm when Carl woke up the next morning, oh crap he thought I should have been in work ages ago.Chas come on its 20 past 12 get up Chas never even answered Chas he said again, Chas just turned over and carried on sleeping . Carl thought he had best just leave her a bit longer he left her and went down on his own.
Still feeling the effects of the night before he didn't want any breakfast all he felt like was a drink of water and 2 paracetamol for his hang over. Then he heard his phone bleeping oh crap he thought that will be Matt or Jimmy he picked his phone up 5 text and 6 mixed calls, then his phone went again , where the hell are you you knew we had a meeting this morning , Ive just got up Carl replied an stop shouting Ive got a head ache, well you deserve a Head ache witch is more like a hang over by the way, you 2where up all night giggling like school kids and you owe me a bottle of vintage, you knew I got that for tonight and you took it, OK I'm sorry Carl said 'll get you one back when I pick the kids up , oh ye and thats something else Carrie had a terrible time with Anya this morning getting her up for school , Carl was starting to feel like a scolded kid himself, look I'll apologies when i see her OK. Will you just leave me alone .So are you coming in or have me and Jimmy got to do it on our own again.Well its not worth it now is it Carl said I have to pick the kids up in a couple of hours and to be honest i still feel a bit drunk. tough not our problem get in here why should we do all your work,Oh get lost Matt I'm going and Carl put the phone.Carl new he was in the wrong but he felt he couldn't do much about it as he felt drunk still.
After a shower and a shave Carl felt alot better and he started remembering the night before , he started whistling Happy tunes around the house but it was getting late so he thought it was time Chas was up, Come on sleepy head come on its time to get up iv got to get the kids in a bit you cant stay in bed all day iv all ready had Matt moaning at me if he comes home and our still in bed he will start again. Chas ignored Carl ad carried on sleeping Chas come on love he said opening the curtains hopping this would stir Chas into action.Carl , Chas said cant I stay here just a bit longer I feel really bad please. OK well ill get you some paracetamol and water and I'll have to go and get the kids.
Carl left to get the kids leaving Chas in bed I hope she gets up he thought before Matt and Jimmy came home he knew how the felt about people who lay in all day they always had to run to a strict schedule with there father a lie in wasn't an option but over the years although Carl was an early bird he got up there noses sometimes with his laziness. all together i took him a hour and a half to get the kids go shopping to find Matt's wine an get back to pear tree to apologies to Matt and Jimmy and also Carrie, Look I'm sorry he said to them giving the wine to Matt , he had also bought Carrie some flowers, I had a wild night he said handing the flowers over to Anya to give to Carrie as a way of apology.
What Matt shouted d you think a few flowers is going to make up for you 2 keeping us all up all night then not turning in for work.Oh leave him alone Matt Carrie said its not every day you get engaged is it. What them two Matt shouted dont make me laugh that engagement has been on off more times than a 5 year old kettle.Come on kids lets get home Carl said knowing his apologies were falling o deaf ears, Go on walk away Matt called after him. Carl turned round and said look Ive apologized what more do you want the kids are standing listening you know.Carl walked out and Matt went to shout something else but Jimmy said Matt leave it now we have all had a good night out before and spoilt he next day just leave it. it took 7 minutes to g back to home farm so Carl had been gone just over 2 hours, Matt jimmy and Carrie where sill arguing over the Way Carl had acted the night before ,well I tell you I Jim I know hes had it rough lately but he has to start pulling his socks up , Just then Matt's phone went ,Matt looked at the phone here he is again More rubbish I bet he said as he answered the phone , what is it now lover boy ,Matt, Carl said Matt come home quick I cant Wake Chas up. Matt sensed the panic in Carl's voice , he looked at Jimmy with concern ,Carl calm down he shouted what do you men you cant wake her up I'll be right there Matt said rushing out with Carrie and Jimmy following.

Matt, Jimmy and Carrie all got in Matt's car to rush off to home farm, E R one of you two get the phone Matt said ill drive ,I can't make sense of him any way,
Carrie took the phone, Carl Carrie said explain whats happened, I don't know Carl replied I thought it was a hang over when she said she wasn't well, so I just left her in bed , by this time Carl's voice was one of sheer panic on top of the sound of the fact that he was total devastation,Carl have you called an ambulance Carries asked no Carl replied I'm still trying to wake her up , Jimmy phone an ambulance , Carrie asked , what Matt said he phoned us before he got an ambulance what an idiot . You can't help yourself can you jimmy said reaching for his phone, Why don't you just lay off him I swear Matt one of these days your going to push him over the edge. Carrie carried on talking to Carl as Jimmy called an ambulance.she could her Carl crying to Chas, Please wake up come on Chas wake up you said you was going to marry me last night Carl was saying through his sobs, Carl , Carl Carrie was shouting down the phone but Carl had put the phone on the floor as he held Chas's hand, Thomas picked the phone up, hello , hello it's Thomas he said tearfully, oh hello sweetheart Carrie said sensing how upset Thomas was , can you hurry up Thomas said my dads crying he wont stop crying and Anya is crying to.Its OK lovie we will be there in the minute we are not far away now tell your dad we are nearly there see if I can speak to him again. Thomas passed the phone back to his dad and Carrie started talking to him again but he could not reply through his sobs. They where 2 minutes away when they saw the dingles van approaching on the opposite side of the road, Matt signalled frantically to stop and Jimmy put his hand out the window to attract there attention. What the hell was that Zak said to Lisa as he got out the van , I haven't been near your land he said as he approached the car so you best not accuse me of poaching. no jimmy shouted we have just had a phone call off Carl, Chas is ill don't know what but Carl thinks its serious you'd better follow us, Zak and Lisa jumped in the van and followed them back to home farm, He best not have laid a hand on our Chas ,Zak said to Lisa , oh shut up Zak Lisa said you know he loves her , well I'm just saying thats all, they all turned into Home Farm and run in to see what was up with Chas , when the got in the room Jimmy and Matt went over to try to calm Carl down Come on Carl Jimmy said the ambulance will be here soon , No leave me Carl said she needs me i not leaving her. Zak and Lisa went the other side of her bed to hold her other hand but they could see she wasn't going to wake up. Carrie decided to take the kids out the room and try to reassure them.
the ambulance turned up 5 minutes after they had all got to Home farm , where the hell have you been Jimmy shouted after them how much of an emergency does it need to be.I'm sorry the paramedic said we were out on a hoax call when we got the call . they went into the bed room to find Carl still sitting with Chas in his arms and tears running down his face, come on son let the Paramedics see her Zak said pulling Carl away no , no I'm not leaving her she will want me to stay with her, look the paramedic said we need to asses her and get her to hospital you need to stay calm. Carl relented and let go of Chas as the paramedics put Chas on the stretcher.Seeing the state Carl was in Matt went over and grabbed his brother look he said she will be fine he said holding onto Carl i will have the kids you go with her , Carl hugged Matt back , thanks Matt he said still with tears in his eyes and hugging Matt back. Anyone coming with her the paramedic asked Yeah me Carl shouted following. you go to Lisa ,Zak said ill get shadrach and follow you up there. Carl and Lisa got in the ambulance and headed for the hospital.
